When an appliance breaks, the first question every customer asks is whether it is worth fixing. A repair proposal that answers that honestly, with the diagnosis, the repair price, and the cost of a new machine side by side, wins trust and repeat business. This Appliance Repair Services Proposal Template sets it out in six clean, practical Word pages.

A Guide to the Pages

The cover shows a front-loading washing machine with a teal porthole, set against a soft pattern of gears, above a wide photo frame. Diagnosis is a framed page with a table of each appliance, brand, problem, and cause, three rings for first-visit fixes, parts carried and warranty, and a checklist of what else was checked. Repair or Replace? Compares repair costs with new prices under a large outline 02, explains the half-price rule and appliance age in zig-zag rows, and closes with care tips. What We Repair shows laundry, cooling and cooking tiles, brands you service and a dotted list of service charges. Your Repair Quote is a magazine page explaining fixed prices, parts, and warranty beside the itemized quote. The final page holds terms and signatures.

Slate, Teal and Amber

Slate and teal look clean and technical, with an amber accent for offers and highlights. Gear shapes repeat in the headers. Headings use Corbel, a modern rounded sans serif, with Calibri for body text.

Typical Appliance Lifespans

Honest Advice Builds Repeat Customers

The repair-or-replace page is the heart of this template. When you tell a customer a repair is not worth it, they remember and call you next time. Note in the template that you do not sell appliances, so your advice is never influenced by a sale, and change it if that is not true for your business.

Filling In the Details

Replace the bold [placeholders] with appliance brands, models, faults, and prices. Add rows to the diagnosis and comparison tables for more appliances. Click the cover photo or the photo on the quote page and choose Change Picture to show your van or technicians.

Writing Up the Diagnosis

Customers trust what they can follow. For each appliance, name the symptom they noticed, the part that failed, and why it failed, in everyday words. A line such as the drain pump is worn, and the filter was blocked with lint is far more convincing than an error code. Keep the old part to show them where you can.

Repair Technician FAQs

Can I use it for commercial kitchens?

Yes. Replace the household brands with commercial equipment and adjust the labour rate.

Where is the diagnostic fee?

It is in the service charges list, with a note that it is waived when the customer goes ahead.
