Marketing Manager Resume Template with Monogram and Blush Accents
You position brands for a living, so your resume is a brand test too. A hiring manager in marketing will judge the page in the same breath as the words: is it considered, consistent, and easy to scan? This template was designed like a magazine page, so the answer is yes before anyone reads a line.
An Editorial Look Without the Clutter
The page is warm cream rather than stark white. A navy ring at the top holds your initials, set in Playfair Display with the second letter in soft taupe. Below it, your name runs in wide-spaced Playfair capitals, and your title sits between two fine taupe rules. A slim contact strip with outline icons is framed by hairlines above and below.
Two blush circles, each traced by a thin ring, are tucked off the top-left and bottom-right corners. They frame the page without competing with your content. Lato, a clean sans-serif, carries the body text at a comfortable reading size.
How the Two Columns Divide the Story
A single hairline splits the page. The narrow left column is for quick facts: a profile paragraph, six areas of expertise rated with five dots, education with years in small capitals, tools and languages. The wider right column is where the evidence lives. Three roles show the title in bold navy, the company in Playfair italics, and the dates aligned to the right. A closing Selected Campaigns section names two campaigns in italics with the result of each on one line.
Test Your Headline Like a Campaign
The line under your name works like an ad headline. Try two versions and keep the one that earns more interviews over a few weeks of applications.
| Goal | Version A | Version B |
| Show seniority | Marketing Manager | Brand & Growth Marketing Lead |
| Signal a specialty | Digital Marketing Manager | Performance Marketing Manager, E-commerce |
| Match a posting | Marketing Manager | Marketing Manager, Consumer Brands |
| Career change | Communications Specialist | Content & Brand Marketer |
Keep it under 40 characters so it stays on one line between the rules.
Bullets That Read Like Campaign Results
Marketing bullets work best when they borrow the shape of a results slide: what you changed, by how much, and what you did to get there. Grew e-commerce revenue 38% in two years by rebuilding the email and paid social funnel says more than a paragraph about channel management. If a figure is confidential, use a percentage or a ranking instead of a currency amount.
Changing the Monogram, Circles and Dots
- Monogram: the initials live in a small text box in the page header. Double-click near the top of the page, click into the circle, and type your own letters.
- Circles and rules: these are real Word shapes in the header. Select one and use Shape Fill or Shape Outline to recolor it, or press Delete to remove it.
- Skill dots: each rating is a row of dot characters. Recolor the dots you want to switch on or off, just as you would any text.
- Contact strip: four cells in a small table, so a long email address only pushes its own cell.
Fonts, Paper and Format
Install Playfair Display and Lato from Google Fonts before you edit; both are free. The file is a single US Letter page. The cream background is part of the design, so print with background colors turned on, or send a PDF and let the color travel with it. Most marketing roles are applied for online, where the PDF is exactly what a recruiter will see.
Is This Layout Right for You?
Choose it if you work in brand, content, social, communications, or marketing leadership and want a resume that feels crafted rather than corporate. If you are applying to a very conservative firm, keep the layout but replace the blush with a pale grey so the page reads quieter.
