Weekend Sales Work Because They End
A weekend sale has the one feature every good promotion needs: a clear finish line. Customers know it starts on Friday and stops on Sunday night, so they plan their visit. This voucher is built for that rhythm. It says SUPER FLASH, WEEKEND SALE and DON’T MISS OUT in three blocks, and it puts the discount in a gold badge that you can see from across a shop.
Inside the Voucher
The voucher is 6 x 2.5 inches in landscape. A scalloped yellow cloud shape forms the top edge. Five Things to Edit Before You Print
- Replace SAMPLE LOGO with your own logo inside the white tile.
- Change 40% to your discount, and decide what it applies to.
- Replace the Latin filler with the dates, such as “Friday to Sunday, 14 to 16 November.”
- Click the photo and use Replace Image to show your own shop, stock or customers.
- Replace the barcode picture with a real code, or delete it.
The Missing Dates Problem
Unlike many coupons, this one has no Valid Until line. A voucher without a date can be used forever. Add one yourself by retyping the grey line at the bottom left, or the text block under DON’T MISS OUT. Make the end time explicit, for example “Ends Sunday 11:59 PM.” Staff then have a clear rule to apply.
Photo Choices
A person with shopping bags says retail therapy and suits fashion, gifts and general stores. If you sell something different, such as furniture, tools or food, replace the photo with an image of your own stock or your front door. Use a bright, clear picture with the subject in the centre, since the circle crops the edges.
Ways to Hand Out Weekend Vouchers
- Insert into bags on the Monday before the sale.
- Post a photo on social media, with the date and a code to quote.
- Drop a bundle at nearby offices and cafes.
- Email a PNG copy to your regular customers on Thursday.

Making the Weekend Feel Like an Event
A weekend sale gets stronger when the shop supports it. Hang a banner in the window that matches the voucher, use the same gold and navy in your till area, and train staff to say the name of the sale. Some shops add a small extra for the first customers on Saturday morning, such as a free tote bag, and print that on the voucher too. Because the sale is short, tell people the dates three times: on the voucher, on the website and at the till.
