Is This Voucher Good for a Luxury Brand?
Yes. The deep red background, the gold accents and the serif lettering give it a more upscale look than most holiday vouchers. It suits jewellers, spas, boutiques, fine dining, hotels and any business that wants a premium gift card without paying for custom design.
What Is on the Card?
The card is landscape and measures 3.375 x 2.125 inches, the size of a credit card. The background is a rich wine red, darker at the corners and lighter in the middle, scattered with white snow dots and a few big snowflake outlines. Silver strings hang from the top right, each holding a metallic bauble, star or snowflake.
At the top left a small line reads Voucher ID. A white box in the upper middle holds the words $100 Gift in dark red, and beneath it the word VOUCHER is set large in white serif capitals using Merriweather. A thin gold line divides the upper and lower halves. In the bottom left, the words COMPANY NAME HERE sit above an address line and a phone and email line. A golden LOGO with a slogan sits at the bottom right.
Can I Change the Amount?
Yes. The $100 is regular text, and so is the word Gift, so type any amount or any phrase, such as “$250 Spa Gift” or “Dinner for Two.” If you do not want a printed amount, delete the text and leave the white box blank for handwriting.
What Do I Write on the Voucher ID Line?
A short code or a serial number is ideal. Many businesses use a prefix plus a number, such as XM-0021, so staff can recognise a holiday voucher at a glance. Keep a list of issued codes and cross them off as vouchers are used.
Why Mention the New Year?
The silver baubles, stars and snowflakes suit both Christmas and New Year, and the design has no figures or religious symbols, so it works for businesses that serve customers of many backgrounds. Choose an expiry that runs past the New Year to give recipients time to use it.
How Do I Replace the Gold Logo?
Click the LOGO text at the bottom right and replace it with your own image. If your logo is dark, place a light panel behind it, because the red background would otherwise swallow it.
Which Paper Looks Best?
Matte or silk card stock between 250 and 300 gsm is the best choice. Dark designs show every scratch on gloss, and a matte finish keeps the red deep and even. For best results, print on a laser printer or at a print shop that can handle large areas of dark colour without streaks.
Can I Print Many at Once?
Yes. Eight cards fit on a letter sheet with standard margins. Save a separate copy for each number if you pre-print the Voucher ID.
Where Are the Matching Designs?
If you want a lighter alternative, see the white Christmas holidays voucher. For a red and gold card with a ribbon banner, look at the Christmas gift voucher template. The Christmas gift certificates page has the full set.
