For the Team That Finished the Project
Projects end quietly. The launch happens, the report is filed, and the team moves on to the next thing. A certificate of project achievement marks the moment. It tells the team that the finish was noticed, and it gives managers a way to say thank you that people can keep. This copper toned design is one of the most decorative in the collection.
Reading the Page
The certificate is Letter size landscape, 11 x 8.5 inches. A thin bronze outer edge frames a cream panel. Around the inside runs a wide band of copper and burgundy filigree: scrolls, leaves and curls in a repeating pattern, with a metallic gradient that shifts from light copper to deep red. A round embossed stamp marked CERTIFIED sits in the upper left.
At the top centre, a line reads Company Name Goes Here. Below it, CERTIFICATE appears in large copper capitals, with of Achievement beneath. The text This certificate is proudly presented to leads to a copper plaque with the name Mr. Samuel Miller in white serif letters. A copper toned paragraph follows, and Date and Signature lines end the page.
Steps for a Project Team Award
- Replace Company Name Goes Here with your organisation.
- Put the recipient’s name on the plaque. For a team, use the team name.
- Rewrite the paragraph to name the project, the date and the result.
- Add the date and ask the project sponsor to sign.
- Print and present at the project review meeting.
Examples of Project Wording
“For delivering the new customer portal on time and under budget.” “For leading the warehouse move without a single day of lost shipments.” “For completing the community garden build with more than forty volunteers.” Specific numbers or results add credibility.
Team Awards With Many Names
If you recognise a team of ten, you have two choices. Print one certificate per person, using the same paragraph and different names. Or print one certificate with the team name, and add a list of members on a card behind it. The first option feels more personal.
Print Notes for a Metallic Look
Copper filigree looks best on cream or ivory matte paper. Test one copy, since the gradient from copper to red can turn brown. Parchment paper of 120 to 160 gsm adds age and depth. The pattern reaches the edge, so use Fit to page and trim any extra white margin.
Why a Certified Stamp Matters
The round CERTIFIED stamp in the corner suggests an official check. If your organisation has a real approval or audit process, this is the right place to use it. A certificate that says Certified with a signature from a manager gives the recipient something to show a client or a new employer. Add a reference number in the paragraph if you track them.
After the Presentation
Ask the recipient or the team lead for a short quote about the project, and use it in the company newsletter next to a photo of the certificate. Keep a digital copy of every certificate issued, with the project name and date, so that it can be found again when someone asks for a reference.
