Smiling Strawberries and Cherries on Sunny Yellow
Smiling cartoon strawberries, cherries and a winking orange slice with thick dark outlines crowd the border of this card, and a big yellow blob holds the text. The title, FUNNY KID’S Party, is in red, green and black, with a date in pink, green and red below it. The card is silly and bright, and young children will love it.
Cartoon Border and Yellow Panel
The card is 5 x 7 inches, portrait, one page. The month, the day number and the time stack in the middle. The residence and the address sit at the foot in bold black capitals.
A Date in Three Colours
The date reads MARCH, 24 and 00:00 PM, with the time a placeholder, so replace it with a real time. The address is THE XYZ RESIDENCE, 4TH ST, CITY STATE, 54321. The card has no RSVP line and no name for the child, so add both. A line such as Come and be silly sets the mood for the day.
Making the Funny Card Complete
- Replace the time.
- Add the child’s name.
- Add an RSVP number.
- Add an end time.
- Mention a theme such as fruit or silly hats.
Using the Fruit Theme
The fruit pictures invite a snack table with strawberries, oranges and cherry tomatoes. A fruit themed party is also a healthy one, and parents will appreciate it.
Games for a Silly Party
Plan simple games such as a funny face contest or a freeze dance. Add a line to the card that tells children to wear their silliest hat.
Printing Thick Outlines
The dark outlines keep the colours sharp. Print on gloss card for a lively finish.
