A Puppy in a Blanket With a Thermometer
A fluffy puppy wrapped in a patterned blanket holds a ribbon that says Get Well Soon, with a thermometer in its mouth, in a warm living room. The size, 864 x 1184 pixels, is made for phone screens and messaging apps. It suits friends who would enjoy a sweet picture in a chat.
Photo, Ribbon and Two Message Bars
The card is 864 x 1184 pixels, portrait, one page. The headline is in chunky capitals at the top. The ribbon is blue and cream. A cream pill at the foot holds the second line.
Two Short Lines for a Chat
The top line reads WISHING YOU A SPEEDY RECOVERY AND LOTS OF COZY REST. The pill reads REST, RECOVER, AND COME BACK STRONGER. Add a name in the caption or type it over the picture if you like. Because the picture is a photograph, it cannot be recoloured, but the text boxes are editable.
Using the Card in a Chat
- Send it with a personal voice note.
- Use the caption for the name.
- Keep the picture, change the lines.
- Follow up with a call.
- Do not send many cards at once.
Why Portrait Phone Size Matters
An image that fills a phone screen is easy to read. The card is portrait and tall, so it looks good in a chat window without cropping.
Animal Pictures and Mood
Animals comfort many people. A puppy in a blanket says rest and warmth without words. Pair it with a plain line of care.
Respecting Image Rights
If you replace the photo, use an image you own or have a licence for. Do not use pictures of other people without consent.
Saving the WhatsApp Card
Save at the original size, and send it as an image. Keep file size small so it uploads fast.

Adding Your Own Words in the Caption
Most chat apps let you add a caption under an image. Use it for the name and one specific line, such as I will drop off soup on Thursday. The caption does the personal work while the image sets the mood.
