Helping a Child Feel Seen
Children often feel left out when they are ill. A card that names them and mentions what they enjoy makes them feel special. Read it aloud to younger ones.
Hospital Stays and Cards
If the child is in hospital, ask the ward about rules for cards and gifts. Many wards have a mailbox or a card wall. A bright card can decorate the bedside.
Making a Card Together
Print the card and let siblings or classmates add drawings. A class card with many names is a joyful surprise for a child who misses school.
