Purple Hexagons and Bold Lines on a Sports Raffle Ticket
A deep purple ticket is filled with layered hexagons in purple, red and white, with diagonal white lines and dots, like a modern sports graphic. SPORTS RAFFLE sits in big white serif capitals, with a small placeholder line below. A $0,000 GRAND PRIZE line, MARCH 08, 20XX and LOREM IPSUM HALL sit in the middle. A darker purple stub has two white bars for the name and phone and a ticket number. It looks like a modern sports broadcast graphic, which appeals to teens and adults.
Graphic Body and Simple Stub
The design is 990 x 360 pixels. The hexagons sit on the left, which leaves the right half of the body clear for text. The two white bars on the stub are long enough for a full name and a mobile number.
Lorem Lines on the Sports Ticket
The line under the title is Lorem ipsum, so replace it with your club name or cause. Type the real grand prize amount in place of $0,000, set the draw year and replace LOREM IPSUM HALL with the venue.
Preparing the Sports Tickets
- Replace the Lorem line.
- Set the grand prize.
- Set the date and venue.
- Number each stub.
- Print and cut.
Funding Kit and Travel for Teams
Sports clubs often raise money for kit, travel and facilities with a season raffle. Sell tickets at home games and draw at the end of season awards night.
Cash Grand Prizes Need Care
Cash prizes may have extra rules in some places, and some groups prefer donated prizes instead. Check what your area allows before advertising a cash amount.
Printing Deep Purple Hexagons
Purple can print darker than on screen. Make a test print on the card you plan to use, and lighten the purple slightly if the hexagons lose their detail.
Selling at Matches
Members can sell tickets in the stands at half time. Bring a float of change and a box for stubs.
Recolouring to Club Colours
Change the hexagon colours to your club colours so fans recognise the ticket straight away.
Using the Sports Tickets
Keep stubs in a sealed box.
