A Certificate That Works for Almost Any Business
Some gift certificates are made for one kind of shop. This one is designed to be neutral: no pictures of food, flowers or tools, just a smart ribbon, a gold seal and clean typography. That makes it ideal for a business that sells many things, a consultancy, a clinic, a studio, or anyone who wants a dignified certificate and will add the branding themselves.

What Goes Where
The writing area is on the right of the ribbon. Four lines are laid out in two rows: A Gift for and From on the first, Sold By and Date on the second. Voucher No. is printed vertically along the left edge, which keeps the number out of the way yet easy to find. Below the title, the words Company Name appear in gold, with a small LOGO and slogan placeholder at the lower left and a phone and email line at the bottom.
Branding Checklist
- Replace Company Name with your business name.
- Swap the LOGO placeholder for your logo image.
- Retype the $200 in the seal to the amount you sell, or print several values.
- Change the phone number and email in the footer.
- Decide whether to keep A Gift For You! or use your own phrase.
Why the Sold By Line Is Useful
This line lets a team record who issued the certificate. If a customer later queries it, you can trace the sale to a person and a date, which saves time at the counter. It also helps with end of day cash checks.
Print Suggestions
The teal and gold look refined on a slightly textured white card stock, 250 to 300 gsm. Stack four certificates in a single column on a letter sheet and trim between them. Slide each one into a long business envelope for gifts. For corporate use, add a foil sticker over the rosette for an extra touch.
Matching the Ribbon to Your Brand
The teal ribbon and the gold seal are artwork, so the simplest way to match your brand is to choose a version of the logo that sits well with teal and gold. If your brand is bright red or purple, consider whether the card will still look balanced. For many professional services, teal and gold read as calm and trustworthy, which is why the design works for clinics, studios and consultants.
The text colours, including the gold Company Name, can be changed in the editor.
If you want a similar size with a Christmas theme, see the holiday gift certificate. For a bolder tear-off look, there is the printable gift certificate with a black stub. Everything else is in gift certificates and vouchers.
