A Diwali card from a business has a different job from a family card. It has to thank clients without sounding like an advertisement, look polished enough to sit on a director’s desk, and carry your brand without shouting it. This 7 x 5 inch landscape template was designed for exactly that: a navy panel with gold paisleys and a brass diya on the left, an ivory message panel with your logo on the right.

Is This Corporate Diwali Card Right for Your Business?

Before you start editing, it helps to check whether the tone of this design matches your relationships. The table below compares it with the warmer family designs in the collection.

If most rows on the left describe you, this is the right card. Accountants, law firms, exporters, textile houses, consultancies, banks and manufacturers send cards like this to hundreds of contacts every year.

What the Navy and Gold Design Includes

The left panel, a little under three inches wide, is deep navy. Four gold paisleys run down its left edge, alternating direction, with a fine gold rule beside them like the border of a printed silk. The greeting is set in the centre of the panel: Happy in Pinyon Script, Diwali in large Cormorant Garamond semibold in ivory, and FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS 2026 in small spaced capitals. A brass diya glows near the foot of the panel.

A gold vertical line separates the two panels. On the ivory side, a logo slot sits in the top right corner showing the Office Templates Online mark as a sample identity, which you replace with your own logo. Under it come SEASON’S GREETINGS in spaced gold capitals, the salutation Dear Valued Partner, a four-line message, a sign-off, a script signature, the signatory’s title and company, and a website line.

Adding Your Company Logo

Click the logo area in the top right corner and choose Replace Image, then upload your logo. The slot keeps its size and position, and your logo is fitted inside it. A transparent PNG or a white background logo works best on the ivory panel. If your logo is tall rather than wide, resize the slot by dragging its corner handle until it suits the shape of your mark, then position it so its right edge lines up with the end of the message text.

Writing a Professional Diwali Message to Clients

Corporate Diwali wishes go wrong in two ways: they turn into a sales pitch, or they become so generic that nobody reads them. Aim for three things in four or five lines: acknowledge the festival, thank the reader for something real, and wish them well for the year ahead.

Message for long-standing clients

As the festival of lights brightens homes everywhere, we thank you for your trust and partnership this year. May Diwali bring you and your team prosperity, good health, and a year of shared success.

Message for suppliers and vendors

Our work this year would not have been possible without your reliability and care. Wishing you and your family a joyful Diwali and a prosperous year ahead.

Message for a new client

It has been a pleasure to begin working together this year. May this Diwali bring light, happiness, and new beginnings to you and your organisation.

Avoid discount codes, product launches and calls to action inside the card. If you want to promote an offer, send it separately; the card should only say thank you.

Personalising the Signature Block

The sample is signed by a managing director, with a script signature, a small capitals title line and a website. Click each line to replace it. Some companies prefer the card to come from the whole team; in that case, replace the script name with The Team at your company name and remove the title line. If several partners want to sign, print the cards and let each sign in ink beside the printed signature. A real ink signature on a printed corporate card is still the most appreciated detail.

In 2026, Diwali falls on Sunday, November 8, so physical cards should ideally be posted by the end of October.

Printing the Card for a Professional Finish

Download the card as a PDF and send it to your printer at 7 x 5 inches with full bleed. The navy panel runs to the left, top, and bottom edges, so bleed matters here. Ask for a heavy uncoated or soft matte card stock of 300 to 350 gsm. Gold foil on the paisleys and the title would be a beautiful upgrade if your print shop offers it; ask them to create a foil layer from the gold elements. Envelopes in A7 size fit a 7 x 5 card. Navy or cream envelopes with a gold address label complete the look.

For large mailings, you can also print two cards per US Letter sheet in landscape and trim, which keeps costs low if you print in-house.

Sending the Corporate Card by Email

Download a PNG at full size and place it in the body of an email rather than attaching it, so clients see it without opening anything. Keep the email text short: one line of greeting, the card image, and your usual signature. Avoid sending hundreds of identical emails from a personal mailbox at once; use your normal email marketing tool if the list is large so messages are not flagged as spam.

Customisation Ideas for Different Industries

  • Financial services: keep the navy and gold exactly as it is. It reads as trustworthy and established.
  • Fashion and textiles: change the navy to deep maroon and the paisley swatches to a brighter gold; paisleys feel especially at home here.
  • Technology companies: switch the left panel to a dark teal and the script to a plainer font such as Cormorant italic for a more modern feel.
  • Hospitality: add a short line inviting clients to a Diwali open house under the message.

Corporate Diwali Card Questions

Can I send this card to clients who do not celebrate Diwali?

Many companies do, and most recipients appreciate it. If you prefer a broader greeting, change Happy Diwali to Season’s Greetings and keep the festival of lights line as a gentle reference.

Can I use our brand colours?

Yes. Click the navy panel to change its colour, and select the paisleys and the diya to change their swatches. Keep good contrast between the panel and the ivory greeting text.

Can I add a second page?

Use Add Page to create a back page for your address, a short note about your company’s Diwali charity donation, or a list of holiday office hours.

Thank Your Clients with Light This Diwali

Replace the logo, write a sincere message, sign it, and send it early. A well-designed card with a real thank you is one of the simplest ways to strengthen a business relationship during the festival season.
