A Big Headline and a Plant Pattern in Peach
Soft peach shapes and plum and coral leaves decorate the corners of this card, and a giant headline in plum and coral capitals shouts HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO THE MOST WONDERFUL MOM EVER! A long paragraph follows. It is a bold, cheerful card, suited to families who want a message that is easy to read at a glance.
Headline, Peach Blobs and Leaf Sprigs
The card is 600 x 800 pixels, portrait, one page. The page is white, with peach organic shapes at the top and sprigs of berries and leaves at the lower left and right. The words MOST WONDERFUL MOM are in coral. A condensed sans serif is used for the headline, and a lighter version for the paragraph.
Paragraph and Closing Line
The paragraph reads Mom, you are the heart of our home and the light in our lives. Today is all about celebrating you and the endless love you give so freely. Your kindness, strength, and warmth make every day brighter. A bold line says You truly deserve all the happiness in the world. The card speaks as a family, with the words our home and our lives, so replace them with I and my if you are signing alone.
From the Family or From One Person
- Keep our if the whole family signs.
- Change to my for a personal card.
- Add the names at the foot.
- Let each child add a line.
- Date the card for the album.
A Family Card Signed by Everyone
Print the card at A5 and pass it around the table. Each person writes a line on the back. The result is a group letter that mothers keep for a lifetime.
Headlines and Reading Distance
The big headline reads from across a room. If you pin the card on a wall or fridge, it will be noticed. A bold card is also good for a school display.
Saving the Peach Headline Card
Save at the original size. Peach prints well. A colour laser on 150 gsm paper is enough for a classroom set.
