Four Children and a Bunch of Balloons Around the Cake
Four children in party hats stand around a table with a cake and presents, holding a bunch of colourful balloons, on a sky blue landscape card. The title HAPPY BIRTHDAY is drawn in bold multicoloured letters with candles and a cake on top, and the name is in script. It suits school age children and party invitations.
Title, Illustration and Message Block
The card is 800 x 600 pixels, landscape, one page. White clouds fade into the blue at the edges. The title and name are at the upper left. The children are at the right. The message sits below the title in a dark sans serif.
Greeting, Message and a Quote With a Missing Hyphen
The greeting reads Dear Noah, then Hooray! It’s your special day! May your birthday be filled with fun, laughter, and lots of yummy treats! A quotation says Have the best balloon-filled birthday ever! with a balloon emoji. In the data the hyphen is missing, so make sure it reads balloon filled or balloon-filled as you prefer. Replace Noah with the child’s name in both places.
Customising a Party Card
- Change the name twice.
- Check the balloon quote.
- Delete the emoji if it does not show.
- Add the party date on the back.
- Sign with your name.
Using the Card as an Invitation
The picture of a party table works for invitations. Add the date, time and place in a text box under the message. Include an RSVP phone number.
Pairing With a Small Gift
A book, a puzzle or a small toy is a good match. Write the gift on the card so the child can open it with the card.
Printing Landscape for Kids
Print on A5 landscape. Bright colours print well on a colour laser or inkjet.
