A Nativity Scene and Angels for a Church Christmas Service
A soft blue background with faint snowflakes and bokeh holds a dark arched panel with a starry sky and a bright star above a stable. Inside, Mary, Joseph and the baby, three wise men, a donkey and a sheep gather under a straw roof, with two angels at the sides. YOU ARE INVITED! and a warm paragraph sit at the top. Church runs in a red script and CHRISTMAS SERVICE in gold capitals, followed by a grey band with the date and time, the church name and address and an RSVP.
Nativity Arch in the Centre
The card is 5 x 7 inches, portrait. The arch frames the nativity like a church window, and the text sits above and below it. The scene tells the Christmas story at a glance, which suits churches of many traditions.
Church Name, Date and Time
The band reads SUN, 24th DEC AT 6:00 PM, which matched 2023, so check the weekday for your year. Replace Grace Community Church, 123 Faith Lane, Springfield with your church. Most churches do not need RSVPs, so you can replace the RSVP line with a website or service times.
Preparing the Church Invitation
- Type the church name.
- Check the weekday.
- Set the service time.
- Replace or keep the RSVP.
- Print for the congregation.
Several Service Times
Many churches hold several Christmas services. List them on separate lines, such as Carol Service 6 PM and Midnight Mass 11:30 PM.
Inviting the Community
Hand invitations out to neighbours and local shops to welcome newcomers.
Printing the Nativity Arch
The nativity scene has rich browns and golds that print well on matte card. Check that the star above the stable stays bright.
Inviting Families to the Nativity Play
If your church holds a children’s nativity play, add a line with its time. Families often come to see the play and stay for the service.
Step Free Access and Parking
Mention step free access, parking or a hearing loop for older guests and visitors with mobility needs. A warm welcome starts with clear information.
Sending the Church Invitations
Hand them out from late November.
