Brown Silhouettes on a Glowing Amber Sky
A big crescent with a tiny mosque in it hangs over a mihrab shaped arch on this card, with brown lanterns and stars dangling from lines on both sides. The sky is a warm gradient of copper and amber, and the Arabic calligraphy below the arch is dark brown. The paragraph speaks of faith, gratitude and compassion. It suits traditional greetings.
Crescent, Arch and Hanging Ornaments
The card is 1080 x 1080 pixels, a square, one page. The gradient runs from deep copper at the left to bright amber at the lower right. Two patterned lanterns and two plain lanterns hang at each side with small stars. The arch outline is a thick brown line in the shape of a mosque doorway. The message text sits below it in a brown serif.
A Faith Message
The paragraph reads Eid is a reminder of faith, gratitude, and compassion. May Allah bless you with strength, patience, and happiness. May your home be filled with peace and your life with countless blessings. Wishing you a wonderful Eid celebration. The text is brown on amber, which reads well. There is no name line, so add one at the foot in brown.
Tips for Brown on Amber
- Keep text dark brown, not black.
- Avoid orange text.
- Use bold weight for names.
- Do not place text over the arch line.
- Keep a margin from the edge.
A Card With Few Colours
The card uses brown on one gradient, which makes it economical to print in two spot colours if you plan a large run. A local printer can quote a price for a run of several hundred.
Greetings From a Community Group
A community group can add its name and a line such as Wishing all our members and their families a blessed Eid. Place the group logo under the arch, in brown or white.
Saving the Amber Faith Card
Save at the original size. On paper, matte 250 gsm gives a soft glow. Check that the gradient does not band.
