The Refill Reminder Band
The green band across the lower page reads NEED A REFILL? in white capitals and asks patients to order holiday prescriptions by Monday, December 21. Change the date to suit your workload. This reminder is the most useful part of the sign, so keep it bold and central.

If a patient runs out of medication while you are closed, they need to know where to go. Add a line under the band naming the nearest 24-hour pharmacy or urgent care centre, or the local health advice number. Put copies on the entrance door, at the prescription drop-off and pickup counters, at the drive-through window, and in each prescription bag in December. A small printed copy stapled to a prescription bag is one of the most effective ways to reach regular patients.
