A Red Gingham Cloth and a Burger for a Picnic Birthday
Colourful bunting hangs across the top of a white page with a pale blue border, and small clouds drift at the corners. At the foot, green hills rise behind a red and white gingham tablecloth spread with a burger, a tomato, a salad bowl, sausages, a jug of lemonade, a bottle and a glass of red juice. The text reads You’re Invited to a Picnic Birthday Party! in grey, JOIN US TO CELEBRATE in yellow, Ella’s in a green script and 10th BIRTHDAY in bold red. It is a sunny, outdoor card.
Bunting, Title and Picnic Scene
The card is 5 x 7 inches, portrait, one page. The month sits above a row with the weekday, the date and the time, divided by red rules. The park address and the RSVP number sit above the picnic scene.
A December Picnic Date
The sample reads Saturday, December 14, 00:00 PM, Sunny Meadow Park, 123 Park Lane, Springfield, and RSVP: +321 456 9870. A picnic in December is unusual in cold climates, so most hosts will move the date to late spring or summer. December 14 is a Monday in 2026. Type a real time, and match the weekday to your chosen date.
Filling In the Picnic Party Card
- Type the child’s name and age.
- Choose a warm month.
- Fix the weekday and time.
- Retype the park and street.
- Set the RSVP number.
A Rain Plan for Outdoor Parties
Weather can change. Add a short line such as If it rains, we will move to 12 Oak Road. Guests then know where to go without a flurry of messages.
What Guests Should Bring
Picnic guests may need a blanket, sun hat or water bottle. Add one line under the address to tell them.
About the Bottle and Glass
The picnic scene includes a bottle and a glass of red drink. For a child’s party, guests will read it as juice, and the image cannot be edited, so no change is needed.
Printing Bright Picnic Colours
The red gingham and green hills print boldly. Use matte card so the colours stay rich without glare, and trim the edges if needed.
Sending the Picnic Birthday Card
Send as a PNG or print on card. Two to three weeks ahead suits a summer party.
